Point Score Competition for the Year Starting March 2010
- All plants must be booked in at each meeting to obtain maximum points.
- Pot Plants
- Each pot plant benched will receive 2 points plus placings
- 1st place 3 points
- 2nd place 2 points
- 3rd place 1 point
- Champion pot plants will receive 3 points
- Each pot plant benched will receive 2 points plus placings
- Cut Stems
- Each cut stem benched will receive 1½ points plus placings
- 1st place 2 points
- 2nd place 1½ points
- 3rd place 1 point
- Champion cut stem will receive 2 points
- Each cut stem benched will receive 1½ points plus placings
- Blooms
- Each bloom benched will receive 1 point plus placings
- 1st place 1½ points
- 2nd place 1 point
- 3rd place ½ point
- Champion bloom will receive 1 point
- Each bloom benched will receive 1 point plus placings
- N.B. Members may bring in as many blooms for judging as they like but a maximum of 12 points will be allocated plus placing plus champion.
- Prize money is allocated for all placings in all categories and will be distributed at the Christmas party.
- Points obtained by members will be printed in the monthly newsletter and will be cumulative from March to October.
